Before you start
Does it work without internet?
It does — and it is worth saying exactly how far. The visit slip opens and saves with the phone in airplane mode: the whole screen, right through the client's signature. Listing intake and inspections need a signal to open, but whatever you fill in stays on the device and uploads by itself once the signal is back. You can see each document's status — waiting for signal, sent, confirmed — and nothing is lost if the app closes.
Is an on-screen signature worth anything?
It is. A slip signed in Keys records the client's ID number, the document's SHA-256 hash, geolocation, the device and a full audit trail: it is solid proof that the client agreed — in Brazil, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) recognizes a signature captured on a private platform, outside ICP-Brasil, as valid proof of consent. That is the proof that backs your commission when someone tries to close the deal behind your back. An enforceable instrument, on the other hand, comes from a different document that Keys also produces: the agency agreement, signed through an external provider under article 784, §4 of the Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure. One does not replace the other — and the visit slip, on its own, is not an enforceable instrument.
Do I have to install it from an app store?
No. Keys installs straight from your phone's home screen and opens like an app. The visit slip works with no signal and syncs on its own once you're back online. No store download, no waiting for update approvals.
If I leave, does my data leave with me?
It does. Under Profile → Download my data you get a CSV copy of people (with roles, source and consents), documents and all of your financials — and you close the account yourself, without asking anyone. It is the law and it is how Keys was built. The reverse holds too: contacts and slips stay with the agency when an agent leaves.
Do you charge per user?
No. Paid plans come with unlimited users: the price follows the volume of slips, intakes and inspections in the month, not the size of your team. The meter is visible on all three field screens and warns you once you pass 80% of the quota — and going over blocks nothing: a signature never stops in the middle of a viewing.
